Samaritan

in reflection I find
I’ve made more excuses
than mistakes

and I take this pain to the well
to flesh out

because I drink, I am thirsty
because you are broken, I must think
but I must break my own practice
for us both to succeed

I may be where I am
and see who you are
but I will never know you

only through disorder
is our divinity
possible
